The aim of this publication is to present various definitions of the phenomenon of terrorism, to refer to the concept of a terrorist crime under Polish legislation, to indicate the most typical crimes of this type, to discuss selected evidence activities performed in the course of preparatory proceedings in cases of terrorist offenses, to pay special attention to on cybercrimes of this nature, emphasizing the legitimacy of criminalizing the financing of terrorism and the need to combat it as part of a „financial investigation”, as well as the final formulation of de lege ferenda conclusions regarding the training system for prosecutors, judges and representatives of law enforcement agencies dealing with this type of crime.
