The webinar will be composed of a short introduction and a 30 minutes presentation , followed by a Q/A session.
Temat: Publicity as a basic principle of the criminal procedure in the context of digital justice
The webinar will cover sensitive practical issues related to competition and reconciliation of the publicity principle with other basic principles and rights, such as personal data protection, health and safety rights, rights to personal life, child protection, witness and victim protection, etc. A number of requirements of EU Directives and ECtHR case law will be lavishly discussed in the context of best-practice solutions. Relevant additional topics related to detention will also be included.
